Updated on Monday, May 13 Last week calves were weak to $5 lower in most of the country, and yearlings were mostly $3-6 lower, following weakness in the fed cattle markets. Corn dropped 22¢ for the week and nearby fed cattle futures dropped another $1.50 for the week. This kind of volatility is now the norm so be sure to check your breakevens before you buy! At Beeflinks our goal is to bring today's beef producers and cattle feeders the latest information to help them improve efficiency and profitability. If you have any comments or questions please drop us an e-mail.
